You can also make the image you imported look like manga art by using the Color filters.
A "Filter" dialog will open when you press the "Filter" button in Layer Properties.

Your image will look like an illustration when you select "Color" in the Filter Settings dialog and press the "OK" button.
(*It is also possible to use more detailed settings from the drop down list.)
